Dianne Smith: Two Turntables and a Microphone, exhibited at the Bronx Museum, celebrated the cultural legacy of hip-hop through an innovative, fusion of art and sound. The exhibition featured dynamic, multimedia elements that paid tribute to her childhood memories and the movement’s roots in the Bronx, highlighting its enduring global impact. Smith's work and interactive insatllations invited viewers to reflect on the rhythm, resilience, and creativity that define hip-hop as an international  powerful cultural force. On opening night guest were treated to a performance by her High School friend , and legendary rapper Slick Rick.
